'All Natural' King Arthur Products Contain Synthetics: Suit

Law360, Chicago (November 16, 2011, 7:01 PM EST) -- The King Arthur Flour Co. Inc. was sacked with a putative class action Monday in California federal court alleging it falsely marketed its breakfast, dessert and bread mix products as being "all natural" when they actually contained synthetic ingredients.

Lead plaintiff Tamar Davis Larsen alleges King Arthur used the "all natural" claim on the labels of 65 of its mixes, and that while the labels did list the allegedly non-natural ingredients, it did not specify that they were synthetic.
