Agent Sues 'Project Runway' Star Over Payless Deal

Law360, New York (November 17, 2011, 11:58 AM EST) -- A former winner of the “Project Runway” reality show competition was sued Tuesday in New York state court by the fashion designer’s talent agency for allegedly stiffing his representation on royalties stemming from a deal with footwear seller Payless ShoeSource.

Designer Management Agency Inc. says that Christian V. Siriano Ltd., the "Project Runway" star's self-titled fashion label, denied the agency royalty payments deriving from Siriano’s agreement to design women's footwear and handbags for discount retailer Payless.
