Japanese Social Network DeNA Hit With $14M Antitrust Suit

Law360, New York (November 21, 2011, 5:24 PM EST) -- Gree Inc. sued rival Japanese online social gaming company DeNA Co. Ltd. on Monday seeking 1.05 billion yen ($13.6 million) for trying to keep software developers from providing their games to Gree in violation of Japan's competition law.

Gree, along with telecommunications company KDDI Corp., sued in Tokyo District Court after the Japan Fair Trade Commission ordered DeNA in June to stop disconnecting software developers' Web links on its Mobage social networking platform because they provided content to Gree as well.
