Ga. High Court Backs Builders Over Blocked Skyline View

Law360, New York (November 21, 2011, 3:01 PM EST) -- The Georgia Supreme Court on Monday ruled in favor of developers in a lawsuit brought by eight Atlanta condominium owners who say they bought their homes under the false promises of unobstructed skyline views.

Reversing the appeals court decision, the high court unanimously ruled that the contracts clearly warned buyers that future construction could change the views and undercut any oral sales pitches made by brokers.
