NY Court Upholds Daffy's Win In Lease Renewal Fight

Law360, New York (November 22, 2011, 5:52 PM EST) -- A New York appeals court on Tuesday upheld a decision excusing discount clothing retailer Daffy's Inc.'s late delivery of a lease renewal to Manhattan landlord Cohen Brothers Realty Corp., saying the store was entitled to equitable relief to avoid material losses resulting from eviction.
