Coventry Eyes Hotel Plan For $10B Texas Eco-Community

Law360, New York (November 28, 2011, 1:36 PM EST) -- Coventry Development Corp. has hired the real estate advisory firm HREC to come up with a plan to build hotels at a $10 billion, eco-friendly planned community in South Texas called Springwoods Village, Coventry's CDC Houston Inc. unit said Monday.

In October 2010, New York-headquartered Coventry announced the project, saying it will serve a population of 40,000 to 45,000 workers and characterizing it as a nature-inspired residential and commercial community designed for sustainability.
