DOJ Asks For Discovery Stay In LCD Case

Law360, New York (July 9, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Justice on Friday asked a court to limit discovery in the ongoing civil litigation over possible collusion in the thin film transistor LCD market, saying it needed more time for a criminal grand jury investigation.

The DOJ, which is currently investigating a slew of TFT-LCD makers, filed its motion to intervene in the civil litigation in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
