Bimbo Foods Can't Shut Down Distributor Class Action

Law360, New York (November 28, 2011, 8:05 PM EST) -- An Illinois federal judge on Monday rejected Bimbo Foods Bakeries Distribution Inc.'s attempt to dismiss or transfer a putative class action that claims distributors were denied benefits after being illegally characterized as independent contractors instead of company employees.
