NYC Muslim Center Deflects Con Ed Eviction Bid

Law360, New York (November 29, 2011, 4:38 PM EST) -- The developer of the embattled Park 51 Muslim community center in New York fought off eviction for nonpayment of rent Friday, when a judge blocked landlord Consolidated Edison’s efforts to boot the center while a court decides the validity of a Con Ed default notice.
