Goldman CEO Can Be Deposed In Gupta SEC Case: Judge

Law360, New York (November 30, 2011, 7:30 PM EST) -- A New York federal judge said Wednesday that Goldman Sachs & Co. Chairman Lloyd Blankfein and six others can be deposed in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's insider trading case against former Goldman board member Rajat Gupta.

Blankfein, along with Goldman President Gary Cohn, was named on a list of 10 people who the defense most wanted to depose on behalf of Gupta, who is accused of feeding convicted billionaire and Galleon Group LLC founder Raj Rajaratnam information he learned as a Goldman board member....
