Taiwan Auto Lights Co. Indicted Over Price-Fixing

Law360, New York (November 30, 2011, 6:01 PM EST) -- A California grand jury on Wednesday indicted Taiwanese auto part maker Eagle Eyes Traffic Industrial Co. Ltd., its top executive and its U.S. distributor for conspiring to fix prices of replacement vehicle lights amid an ongoing federal probe of the industry.

The indictment charges Eagle Eyes, its chairman Yu-Chu Lin and its California-based distributor E-Lite Automotive Inc. with conspiracy to fix prices for aftermarket auto lights, which are designed either to replace original ones damaged in a collision or to serve as auto accessories and upgrades,...
