Plug Pulled On VA Tech Contract Row

Law360, Washington (December 1, 2011, 1:42 PM EST) -- A U.S. Court of Federal Claims judge on Wednesday scrapped contractor Med Trends Inc.'s challenge to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs' alleged failure to set aside an information technology contract for veteran-owned small businesses, saying the court lacked jurisdiction.

The VA issued a procurement Oct. 7 seeking a contractor to provide the agency with operations and maintenance support services for the continuing redesign of its Veterans Benefits Management System — Rating, or VBMS-R, application.
