AT&T Slams FCC Report On T-Mobile Deal As Biased

Law360, New York (December 1, 2011, 4:50 PM EST) -- AT&T Inc. on Thursday lambasted the Federal Communication Commission's critique of its controversial $39 billion bid to acquire T-Mobile USA Inc., attacking the agency's competitive analysis and other findings as one-sided and unfair.

In a post on AT&T's public policy blog, senior executive vice president of external and legislative affairs Jim Cicconi said that the FCC staff report released earlier this week raised questions about whether its authors were biased against the transaction even before they began their examination.
