UK Court Won't Enforce Soccer Star's Publicity Contract

Law360, New York (December 1, 2011, 9:35 PM EST) -- A U.K. appeals court ruled Thursday that an image rights agreement between Manchester United player Wayne Rooney and his former management agency was unenforceable, finding the agreement restricted the soccer star’s freedom to earn an income.
