Hagens Berman Off Hook In Ala. Firm's Atty Fee Battle

Law360, New York (December 1, 2011, 10:01 PM EST) -- Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP on Thursday escaped a suit claiming it owed an Alabama law firm profits from the firms’ collaboration on high-profile pharmaceutical product liability lawsuits after a federal judge ruled there was no evidence to suggest the claims were true.

U.S. District Judge L. Scott Coogler granted Hagens Berman's motion for summary judgment and dismissed Garve W. Ivey PC's suit with prejudice, agreeing with the defendants' argument that there was no justiciable controversy between the parties.
