Pentagon Proposes Bid Checklists For Contractors

Law360, New York (December 5, 2011, 4:18 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Defense on Friday proposed a rule that would require contractors bidding on certain solicitations to submit checklists that ensure they have included all the required information, another part of the military's Better Buying Power initiatives.

The new checklist, which runs about four pages in the Federal Register, was designed to make sure that potential contractors take responsibility for submitting complete bid proposals, the military said.
