Dutch Competition Agency Raids KPN, Vodafone, T-Mobile

Law360, New York (December 6, 2011, 1:30 PM EST) -- Dutch competition regulators raided the offices of several mobile phone companies Tuesday — including the country's three largest cellphone operators, Koninklijke KPN NV, T-Mobile International AG and Vodafone Group PLC — as part of an investigation into possible cartel activity.

The Netherlands Competition Authority, or NMa, said it showed up unannounced at the offices of a number of cellphone providers Tuesday, but would not comment on the exact nature of the cartel conduct being investigated or identify the companies involved.
