Mack-Cali, Developer Join Forces On NJ Apartment Plan

Law360, New York (December 7, 2011, 3:57 PM EST) -- Mack-Cali Realty Corp. is taking its first steps into the residential market in a decade, teaming up with a New Jersey developer to build a luxury apartment tower on the Hudson River waterfront, the office-focused real estate investment trust announced Wednesday.

The project will add a multifamily residential component to the Harborside Financial Center, the office, retail and entertainment complex owned by Mack-Cali in Jersey City, N.J., just across the water from downtown Manhattan.
