KBR Subcontractor Hit With $51M Suit Over Iraq Contract

Law360, New York (December 7, 2011, 6:19 PM EST) -- ABC International Group Inc., a KBR Inc. subcontractor, was hit Monday with a $51 million suit by one of its own subcontractors, which claims ABC stiffed it out of more than $20 million of contracted work feeding U.S. soldiers in Iraq.

The suit, lodged in Washington federal court by Istanbul-based Serka Insaat Ve Ticaret AS, asserts claims of fraud, breach of fiduciary duty and breach of contract, among others, against Kuwait-based ABC. Serka seeks repayment of the money it claims it is owed, plus $30 million...
