Ex-Marvell Technology Manager Cops To Insider Trading

Law360, New York (December 7, 2011, 2:15 PM EST) -- A former manager at semiconductor maker Marvell Technology Group Ltd. pled guilty Wednesday to an insider trading charge for leaking confidential information about the company's finances to associates.

Stanley Ng, a 43-year-old Cupertino, Calif., resident, admitted in a Manhattan courtroom to sharing secret Marvell information with Winnie Jiau, an ex-consultant at Primary Global Research LLC, and Son Ngoc “Sonny” Nguyen, a former employee at chip company Nvidia Corp. He was charged in August.
