NY To Fork Over $5.6M For 1,200 Acres Of Catskill Land

Law360, New York (December 8, 2011, 6:05 PM EST) -- New York state will soon seal a $5.6 million deal adding 1,200 acres to its Catskill Forest Preserve, solidifying part of a 2007 preliminary agreement that also paved the way for construction of a $400 million resort in the area, the state's environmental conservation department said Wednesday.
