Corzine Denies Knowing Of Improper MF Global Transfer

Law360, New York (December 15, 2011, 6:58 PM EST) -- Former MF Global Holdings Ltd. CEO Jon S. Corzine on Thursday refuted the idea that he knew about a supposed transfer of segregated customer funds into the company's own coffers before it collapsed into bankruptcy and $1.2 billion in customer assets went missing.

"I did not instruct anyone to lend customer funds to MF Global, nor was I told that anyone had done so," Corzine told members of a subcommittee of the House Committee on Financial Services, marking the third time he has appeared before Congress...
