Chris Dodd defended his organization’s support of proposed federal legislation strengthening online intellectual property enforcement Tuesday, ahead of a U.S. House of Representatives committee vote on the controversial Stop Online Piracy Act set for Thursday.
“One-quarter of all global Internet traffic is copyright-infringing,” Dodd said in a speech at the Center for American Progress on Tuesday. “There is no business model in the world that can compete with theft.”
