NLRB Alleges Washington Post Violated Labor Law

Law360, New York (July 12, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal labor agency has filed a formal complaint against the Washington Post for allegedly failing to negotiate with the newspaper's union over extra work employees were asked to perform for the company's radio station.

In its complaint, the National Labor Relations Board accuses the Washington Post of violating labor laws by failing to negotiate with the Washington-Baltimore Newspaper Guild over the additional duties both newsroom and business employees were asked to perform for Washington Post Radio.
