HGTV Host Jamie Durie Gets Contract Suit Rooted Out

Law360, New York (December 15, 2011, 12:37 PM EST) -- A California federal judge on Tuesday tossed a suit brought against landscaper and television host Jamie Durie by his former manager, who claimed he was owed an executive producer credit and payment for Durie's show “The Outdoor Room.”

Plaintiff Lance Reynolds claimed Durie and his company JPD Media Pty Ltd. had breached a settlement agreement by failing to give him the executive producer credit on Durie's HGTV show and failing to pay him on a favored nations basis with other executive producers.
