BT Takes Aim At Google On Navigation, Location Patents

Law360, New York (December 19, 2011, 3:21 PM EST) -- British Telecommunications PLC became the latest rival to target Google Inc. with infringement litigation Thursday, accusing virtually every one of the Internet search giant's major products of violating patents related to location-based services and navigation technology.

The Delaware federal court complaint cites Google's "ongoing and pervasive infringement of BT patents" for a variety of Internet and wireless technology used to offer location-based services, navigation aids and personalized content.
