SF Homeowners Can't Stall On Regs During Dispute: Judge

Law360, New York (December 19, 2011, 7:54 PM EST) -- A group of San Francisco condominium complex owners challenging expanded low-income housing rules can’t put off compliance while they battle the city in court over the matter, a California appeals court ruled on Thursday.

The California appellate panel reversed a lower court’s granting of an injunction that put the affordable housing rules on hold, finding that the plaintiffs had missed a key filing deadline and therefore stood little chance of succeeding at trial. The case was remanded to a lower state court.
