Jury Finds Conrad Black Guilty

Law360, New York (July 13, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Former media baron Lord Conrad Black was found guilty of fraud on Friday by a Chicago jury, ending a four-month-long trial in which he stood accused of bringing about the downfall of his media empire.

The jury found him guilty of three counts of mail fraud and one count of obstruction of justice. However, Black was cleared of nine other counts against him, including racketeering.
