Ex-Amdocs IT Workers Win Cert. In OT Action

Law360, New York (December 20, 2011, 6:13 PM EST) -- A California federal judge on Monday conditionally certified a class of former Amdocs Inc. information technology employees who accuse the global technology firm of misclassifying them as overtime-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

U.S. District Judge Susan Illston denied Amdocs' motion for summary judgment and ruled that the plaintiffs had satisfied the "fairly lenient standard" required to conditionally certify the class.
