SEC Settles With Player In $8.6M China Voice Ponzi

Law360, New York (December 20, 2011, 10:17 PM EST) -- Another player in telecom provider China Voice Holding Corp.'s alleged $8.6 million Ponzi scheme settled with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in a Texas federal court Tuesday, making him the final individual defendant to reach an agreement with the commission.

Robert Wilson and his company, Strategic Capital, agreed to an injunction keeping them from continuing to violate federal securities law and to a disgorgement of funds and civil penalty in amounts to be determined by the court, according to the consent document.
