OpenGate's Publishing Co. Picks Up French Fine Art Mag

Law360, New York (December 21, 2011, 5:08 PM EST) -- A Paris-based children's educational publisher owned by California private equity firm OpenGate Capital LLC has acquired Arts Magazine, a leading French fine arts publication, the company announced Wednesday.

Fleurus Presse, which OpenGate acquired in 2009, did not say how much it would pay for the magazine, which listed total capitalization of €333,000 ($440,000) on its website. The seller was Arts Mag Edition, the company said.
