9th Circ. Backs Dismissal of Apple False Advertising Suit

Law360, New York (December 22, 2011, 3:31 PM EST) -- The Ninth Circuit on Thursday upheld a lower court's dismissal of a class action against Apple Inc., ruling that Apple had no obligation to disclose an alleged defect in one of its laptop models and that advertisements touting the computer's durability were not legally binding.
