Aussies Issue Updated Broadcaster Privacy Guidance

Law360, New York (December 22, 2011, 7:40 PM EST) -- Australia's media regulator on Thursday released new guidelines to help broadcasters steer clear of privacy breaches when dealing with minors, sensitive private details, material posted on social networking sites, and other thorny issues.

The Australian Communications and Media Authority issued the new guidance after completing its first review of the guidelines it issued in 2005.
