Clash Media Worker Wrongly Fired Over Groupon Deal: Suit

Law360, New York (December 23, 2011, 1:38 PM EST) -- A former employee of New York media and marketing company Clash Media Inc. on Wednesday alleged its management wrongfully fired him based on false accusations that he shared confidential information surrounding a Groupon Inc. deal that later went south.

Jason Finkelstein contends that he was given permission by a supervisor to enter into an independent contractor agreement with MySavings Inc., which had offered Finkelstein a job, so that he could bring in MySavings campaigns that Clash was unable to accommodate.
