Nev. Atty Hits Loan Processor With Robo-Signing Suit

Law360, New York (December 23, 2011, 5:37 PM EST) -- A Las Vegas attorney filed a putative class action on behalf of homeowners upon whom Lender Processing Services Inc. allegedly foreclosed using the controversial process called robo-signing, the attorney said Friday.

Matthew Callister of Callister & Associates LLC said the firm was working to amend and refile an original complaint filed Tuesday in Clark County District Court that alleges deceptive trade practices by LPS and the lenders it serves. The suit seeks monetary damages and a stay on any current foreclosures.
