Judge OKs Dismissal Of Some Ephedra Claims

Law360, New York (July 17, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In a boon to one diet pill maker in the multidistrict litigation over the controversial stimulant ephedra, a federal judge has signed off on a spate of stipulations to dismiss various claims brought by plaintiffs in the long-running cases.

U.S. District Judge Jed S. Rakoff of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York gave the green light to a series of stipulations on Monday.
