LA Times Gets Ex-Publisher's Wrongful Firing Suit Pared

Law360, New York (January 9, 2012, 9:32 PM EST) -- A California judge on Monday nixed defamation and emotional distress claims from a former Los Angeles Times Magazine publisher's wrongful termination lawsuit, which alleges he was fired because he criticized a decision to stop distributing the magazine to poor and minority neighborhoods.
