Qwest, Primus Sued For Infringement

Law360 (July 18, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A small patent holding firm that once sued Google Inc. for $5 billion for allegedly violating patents covering Voice over Internet Protocol technology launched two more suits asserting the same patents on Monday.

Rates Technology Inc. filed separate complaints against Qwest Communications Co. and Primus Telecommunications Inc. in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, alleging the telecommunications companies have been infringing two of RTI's VoIP patents for the past six years.
