UCLA Still Silent On Data Breach Class Action

Law360, New York (January 10, 2012, 7:26 PM EST) -- The University of California at Los Angeles Health System has yet to respond to a putative class action filed nearly a month ago over the theft of thousands of patients’ confidential information, according to Tuesday news reports.

Four weeks after a patient filed the suit on behalf of all patients whose data was compromised, the University of California Board of Regents and its counsel have been unresponsive, UCLA student newspaper the Daily Bruin reported.
