Latham's $13M Deal With Trump Entertainment Gets Nod

Law360, New York (January 10, 2012, 6:20 PM EST) -- A bankruptcy judge in New Jersey on Tuesday approved a $13.2 million settlement between the reorganized Trump Entertainment Resorts Inc. and law firm Latham & Watkins LLP.

Under the settlement, approved by Judge Judith H. Wizmur of the Camden, N.J., bankruptcy court, Latham agreed to drop all but four of its remaining 10 claims against the casino and resort operator; each of the four claims is valued at approximately $3.3 million.

Counsel for the parties were not immediately available for comment on Tuesday.
