Insurers Off Hook For Defective PVC Pipe Coverage

Law360, Los Angeles (January 11, 2012, 6:07 PM EST) -- A California judge ruled Wednesday that National Union Fire Insurance Co. of Pittsburgh, Pa., and others have no duty to defend J-M Manufacturing Co. Inc. in massive federal False Claims Act litigation over defective PVC pipes, saying the employee whistleblower's allegations were not covered by commercial insurance policies.
