Navy Wants Contractor's Protest Over Poor Review Nixed

Law360, New York (January 13, 2012, 4:17 PM EST) -- The U.S. Navy on Thursday asked a federal judge to dismiss a protest brought by GSC Construction Inc., saying the case is premature because the contractor is separately seeking more than $4.6 million in adjustments to its construction contract.

GSC, hired to build the Consolidated Medical Clinic at the Naval Weapons Station in Goose Creek, S.C., sued the Navy in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims after receiving a "marginal" performance rating on the $41.5 million deal.
