Support For Net Neutrality Pours Into FCC

Law360 (July 19, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Tens of thousands of comments had poured in to the U.S. Federal Communications Commission when it closed its inquiry into the contentious issue of “net neutrality” on Monday, the vast majority in favor of new rules barring Internet service providers from discriminating among customers.

The consumer advocacy coalition SaveTheInternet.com reported on its blog that roughly 95% of the comments the FCC received favored net neutrality regulation. The coalition provided a tool on its Web site for users to submit comments to the FCC.
