Bristol-Myers Pays $13M To Settle Pricing Class Action

Law360, New York (July 19, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Just days before a trial was set to start, Bristol-Myers Squibb has agreed to pay $13 million to settle a class action lawsuit brought by patients who said they paid too much for their drugs for a period of about six years.

The settlement, reached in the average wholesale price litigation in which the company has been named as a defendant, has yet to be filed and still needs court approval. A trial in the matter was set to begin on Monday.
