Forever 21 Denied Employees Full Meal Breaks: Suit

Law360, New York (January 18, 2012, 4:52 PM EST) -- Forever 21 Inc. was hit with a proposed class action Wednesday by former sales associates at the clothing retailer's California stores accusing it of not paying them for off-the-clock work that cut into their meal breaks.

In their complaint filed in California court, the plaintiffs say that each time after they had clocked out for their 30-minute meal breaks, they had to undergo unpaid bag inspections for at least 10 minutes to make sure they did not steal company products.
