Fox Fraud Suit Against Distributor Gets Qualified OK

Law360, Los Angeles (January 19, 2012, 6:56 PM EST) -- A California federal judge ruled Thursday that 20th Century Fox International Corp. can sue a German stakeholder in an international film distributor that allegedly breached a contract and bilked the studio of at least $3 million, but suggested his decision is ripe for appeal.

U.S. District Judge George H. Wu denied German lawyer Bodo Scriba’s motion to dismiss the case against him for lack of personal jurisdiction and forum non conveniens.
