Nurses Can Pursue Collective, Class Wage Actions: Judge

Law360, Los Angeles (January 19, 2012, 9:24 PM EST) -- A federal judge ruled Thursday that a class of nurses can pursue wage claims as a collective action under federal law and a class action under state law simultaneously, saying defendant Maxim Healthcare Services Inc. can revisit objections in the employment and unfair competition suit.
