Monster Sues Ex-Employee Over Sales Scheme

Law360, Los Angeles (January 19, 2012, 8:34 PM EST) -- Monster Cable Products Inc. on Thursday sued an electronics component distributor and a former employee in California who allegedly worked out a moneymaking scheme to steal proprietary pricing information and sell Monster products below market value.

The lawsuit claims that Jeff Feldman, Monster's former director of channel marketing and sales strategies, sent Ely Eddi, the owner of Digital Data Devices Inc., confidential pricing information that allowed the company to purchase products at rock-bottom prices, the lawsuit said.
