ICANN Claims Antitrust Immunity In '.XXX' Domain Fight

Law360, New York (January 23, 2012, 3:49 PM EST) -- Arguing it is immune from antitrust law because it doesn't engage in trade or commerce, the Internet Corp. for Assigned Names and Numbers on Friday moved to dismiss an adult website operator's suit alleging ICANN used an anti-competitive process to approve the new ".xxx" top-level domain name.
