Endurance Takes RE Loan Coverage Row To Federal Court

Law360, New York (January 31, 2012, 7:59 PM EST) -- Endurance American Specialty Insurance Co. on Friday removed to federal court a suit brought by a real estate investment firm demanding coverage in an underlying action over a failed $20 million loan for an industrial project in Hawaii.

PCCP LLC originally brought the suit in California state court, accusing Endurance of violating a contractual obligation to cover claims against PCCP even after its executive liability policy had expired.

The suit stems from PCCP’s plans to develop the Kaloko Heights Industrial Park in Kona, Hawaii, in 2004....
